Lillian Mary Miller

Lillian Miller, age 86, of Weeki Wachee, FL, died on Thursday, January 14, 2016, at her home. She was a 30 year resident coming from Riverside, NJ. Born on February 19, 1929, in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Edward & Emma (Kline) Ludwig. Lillian was able to retire early from the Cheinco Manufacturing Company, in South Jersey. Lillian was wonderfully talented at crafting Needle Point, loved jigsaw puzzles, and camping in the outdoors with her family. In her younger years, Lillian was very active as a Girls Scout of America Troop leader, and enjoyed the outdoors activities, including camping. She was Roman Catholic and a member of the St. Theresa Catholic Church in Spring Hill. Lillian was preceded in death by her husband, Alexander F. Miller, and by 11 siblings. Lillian is survived by her daughter, Evelyn Gerety, of Weeki Wachee, FL., Theresa Villari of Riverside, NJ. and son, Joseph Miller, of Rock Hall, MD. She is also survived by her grandson, Dominic (Courtney) Villari, of Riverside, NJ. grandson, Scott (Lisa) Leary, of Fairfax, VA. granddaughter, Christy (John) Veasy, of Riverside, NJ. and granddaughter, Christine (Ron) McMahon, of Riverside, NJ. as well as by her great grandchildren; Maureen McCurdy, Ronald McMahon, Adeline Villari, and Alexis Veasy, all of Riverside, NJ. Lillian’s family and friends will gather for the Mass of Christian Burial on Thursday, January 28, 2016, at 9:30 AM at St. Theresa Catholic Church, at 1107 Commercial way, Spring Hill, Florida 34606. Fr. Chris Fuse, will celebrate the Mass. Committal Services and burial will follow at the Florida Hills Memorial Gardens in Spring Hill. Funeral arrangements and care have been entrusted to the Turner Funeral Homes, Spring Hill Drive Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Spring Hill Fire Rescue.
