Seva was born in Charleston, West Virginia on October 5, 1948, she was the first of three born to Delores and Roger Dennis. She graduated from Dunbar High School in West Virginia in 1966.
After graduating from High School, she pursued her dream of becoming a teacher. She loved her life with her two daughters, Denise and Jennifer. Between helping the girls with schoolwork, activities like gymnastics and horses, she also maintained her home and a career.
She wanted to make a difference in a young child’s life so in 1986 Seva graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fl. with an Education Degree. She taught 2nd grade at Pines Lakes Elementary in Pembroke Pines, Fl. from 1987 to1996. She relocated to Navarre, Fl where she taught 3rd grade at Holley Navarre Intermediate School until her retirement in 2012.
Seva was a 3rd grade teacher who loved teaching. She fostered and inspired the self-esteem of every child in her classroom and every child whose life she touched. She gave her students responsibilities, insured their achievements by instilling in them a feeling of contribution and achievements. She empowered each student with a feeling of self-worth, helped their creativity shine while teaching them the building blocks to succeed in school and life. Seva understood the importance of education. Every vacation she took became a learning opportunity to teach her granddaughters a little bit of history that she saw through her eyes with post cards, books, and phone calls.
