Harry Joseph Boudreau, 90 of 15 Milton St., Sydney, formerly of Louisdale, passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Palliative Care Unit.
Born in Louisdale, he was the son of the late Walter and Clara (Landry) Boudreau.
He was employed for 43 years at Sydney Steel, retiring from the Railway Dept. in 1984.
He was a member of St. Joseph’s parish, Sydney.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Theresa (MacRae), sons Merlin (Viola); Derek (Phyllis); Paul (Connie); brothers Joseph, Sydney, Louie (Marie), Cole Harbour, grandchildren Treena (Rob), Milton, ON; Adrian, Louisdale, Mark (Carolyn); Scott, both of Sydney; Whitney, Louisdale; great grandchildren MacKenzie and Archer.
He was predeceased by brothers Amedie, Eddie, Joe, sisters Mary MacDonald, Cecila Krszwda, Stella Doucet and Lucy Forrester.
Visitation for Mr. Boudreau will take place on Wednesday, May 30, from 2-4 & 7-9 pm at T.W.Curry Parkview Chapel. Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 2 pm at St. Joseph’s Church with Rev. Conrad Edwards officiating. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
