Clifford was born in Coupland, Texas, on June 30, 1934, to Wilson and Ella Brinkmeyer Mahlow. He graduated from Thrall High School.
Upon graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and fought for our country during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a machine operator for TxDot for 40 years. He was a Master Mason for 50-plus years. He was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Taylor, Texas, until his illness.
Clifford is survived by his daughters, Sheila Skidmore (husband David), and Pam Fuller; sister, Carol Kropp (husband Jim); grandchildren, Blake and Sherry Mahlow and Glenna Juneau; and great-grandchildren, Ryder and Brenna Juneau; nephew, Phillip Kropp; and former wife, Margaret Pelzel, as well as other family and friends.
Clifford is preceded in death by his parents; son, Bryan, and daughter-in-law, Debbie; grandson, Bryant; and son-in-law, Charlie Fuller.
Visitation will be on Saturday, June 5, from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Condra Funeral Home, with graveside services following at Taylor City Cemetery, weather permitting. In the event of inclement weather, the service will be held at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m.
