She worked for Scott & White Radiology Department for over twelve years then for Baylor Medical Center in Dallas as an Exectutive Aministrative Secretary for 35 years.
Joyce was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church of Temple.
Miss Tomlin passed away on Saturday, June 23, 2012 in Temple at the age of 75 years, 9 months and 8 days.
Left to cherish her memory are two brothers, J. R. and his wife, Nancy Tomlin, of Dallas and Bert Tomlin of Ft. Worth and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was Monday evening from 5 to 7 pm at the Crawford-Bowers Funeral Home.
Funeral services were 2 pm Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at Memorial Baptist Church, 6161 S. 5th St, Temple, Texas 76502 with the Rev. Ridge Adams officiating. Burial followed at Greathouse Cemetery.
