William L. (Bill) Stuessel

William L. (Bill) Stuessel, age 81, of Temple died Monday, September 13, 2010 in a local hospital. Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 17, at Scanio-Harper Funeral Home with Rev. Elton Lawson officiating. Burial will follow at Moffat Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Mr. Stuessel was born on June 13, 1929 in Lott to Edward and Laura (Litzman) Stuessel. He was reared and educated in the Burlington and Rosebud communities. He graduated from Rosebud High School. He married Mary Miller Urbantke on August 31, 1971. He had been a resident of Bell County most of his life. He worked for American Desk for 40 years. After retirement he worked at Morgan's Point Marina. He was a member of the Optimist Club at Morgan's Point Resort and the Morgan's Point Volunteer Fire Department. Survivors include his wife, Mary Stuessel of Temple, two sons, Ernest R. Urbantke and wife, Nancy of Temple, Edward P. Urbantke and wife, Ellen of Eddy, five grandchildren; Michael Urbantke and wife, Shelly of Holland, Jody Bruner and wife, Consuela of Academy, Kristi Allen and husband, John of Odessa, Tony Bruner and wife, Jackie of Lemoore, California, Marjorie Seith and husband, Ryan of Woodway and 13 great-grandchildren.
