Dear Marina & Family
We are so sorry to hear about Dennis's passing. It was a pleasure working with him, he always came around to talk and give us a laugh. He made us laugh so much one day he said he had gone to a school meeting, and he said you know they thought i was the grandfather. I was the oldest father there. We couldn't stop laughing.

My sincerest condolences to Marina, Cameron and Thomas.

A dear friend has left us all too soon.
I knew Dennis for almost 50 years and I can't put all of that time into a few words. Suffice it to say that Dennis was a kind, caring and dedicated individual with a great sense of humor. He was always willing to listen and help others when in need.
Most of all , his love and devotion for Marina, Cameron and Thomas rose above everything else.
Be at peace my friend.

Priscilla Downs.

I was saddened to read of Dennis' passing. I knew Dennis from when our two Cameron's played hockey together in Aurora.

Dennis was such an easy person to talk with, with a great outlook and a quick wit. We had many conversations at the rink, and it was clear how proud he was of his family.

I remember how he somehow acquired an old guitar one time, and since he knew I played and 'rehabilitated' guitars, he insisted that I have it. That's just the kind of guy he was.

As I read the tributes, it's clear he had many varied interests and a wide network of friends, family, and colleagues. As they say, a life well lived. We'll all miss him.

Marina: I am saddened by the death of a really good person, Dennis, and cannot imagine the depth of your pain and loss.  Although it has been over twenty years since I was with MPGC, I did see Dennis on occasion and remember you in the office at York. You and the boys were his pride and joy and he became an even better person because of his family.
Ernest Hemmingway wrote in one of his novels that “The world breaks everyone and afterwards many are stronger in the broken places.”
I know you and your sons may feel broken but believe that Dennis’ presence in your lives and his memory will make you stronger and better. Many more people than you will ever know are thinking of you at this time and that everything good in Dennis lives on within your sons.

Sincere condolences to The Moir family. I worked with Dennis on the Etobicoke Sports Hall of Fame and his contribution will be greatly missed. At our meetings it was evident he was proud of his family and loved you deeply.

Dear Marina, Cameron and Thomas,
Please accept our deepest condolences for your loss. As a little girl, my memories of Dennis were always associated with the company picnics and the horses he generously brought to entertain us all. He was very funny and terribly patient with all of us. And later, when my own daughter began to ride he offered words of encouragement and enthusiasm for her. Forever endeared in my memory as my dad’s (boss) friend who showed up to our house on a cool bike , he always took the time to engage us. Our family will miss him. Sending you all our love and hugs, Sherri-Ann, Hayes and the girls.
