It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of William Shee Lum (Sen) Young on Friday August 13, 2010 at North York General Hospital, Toronto from an aneurism in his 79th year. William was the son of the late Peter Wing Yen Young and Elizabeth Tang Ching; devoted husband to Doreen, father of Mark (Vicky), Anita (Charles) and Joan and grandfather to Stephanie, Nicole and Rachel. William will be sadly missed by relatives and friends and those who worked with him.
Friends may call on Monday August 23 at the R.S. Kane Funeral Home (6150 Yonge Street, at Goulding, south of Steeles) from 2-4 pm and 6-9 pm. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday August 24 at 11 am at St. Timothy's Anglican Church Agincourt (4125 Sheppard Ave. East). Interment to follow at Highland Memory Gardens (33 Memory Gardens Lane). As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to The Guyana Berbice Association Toronto Inc. (109 Theobalds Circle, Richmond Hill, ON L4C 9C8) and St. Timothy's Anglican Church.
