Our family lived in the ranch house on Paradise Farm for five years.  We had some of the happiest times there.  Mr. & Mrs. Jones treated us like family.  Margaret would invite us to a delicious dinner now & then and we would sit around the kitchen table or on the large front porch and talk about the times, the children, and whatever came up. 
Once we were invited to help make saurerkraut - that was a learning experience - We also had a horrible thumder storm that evening and the bridge was flodded and washed out for days. My husband sold cars for a while and we had snow and ice.  He pulled into the long driiveway and slid a brand new demo into the stream., up to the windows on the riight side of the car.  Mr. Jones made arrangements to have it pulled out with a piece of farm equipment.
You just never nnew what would happen on Paradise.  We loved the horses and all the people involved wirth them. 
We feel blessed to have spent those five years sharing the Jones's lives, property and friends.  
Our son David learned to ride on Gumby - the pony - and played with Rocky and Rags for many hours.  We celebrated birthdays on our screaded porch.  We really loved that little rancher and still miss it.  We have many photos and enjoy looking at them.  Well, as usual, I've talked too long - but I want everyone to know what a wonderful time we had on the farm with Bud and Margaret looking over our little family.  
We miss them greatly - will always keep Margaret (and the Jones's Family) in our prayers

Dear Dottie and Gary:

I am so sorry to have missed your mothers viewing and funeral this week. I was welcoming my second grandchild. I will miss your mothers sense of humor. My thought and prayers are with you and your family.

We feel so blessed that Dottie and her family became a part of our family. We all have such great memories of Margaret in both Maryland and "out west". We will especially cherish the happy photo's of her with our grandchildren in California and Montana. Dave and Patty Johanson

Both Phil and I were saddened when we learned of Mrs. Jones' passing. As you know I've been lucky enough to know her for over 43 years and Phil for nearly 35 years. Mr. and Mrs. Jones and both you and Gary welcomed us to Paradise Farm as if we were family. Even today, where ever I board my horse I compare it to Paradise and no place (as good as it may be) ever quite measures up. I don't think I can recall a single instance when Mrs. Jones raised her voice. She was such a warm person and will be deeply missed by so many. We hope that you can somehow find peace at this difficult time.

Gary and Dottie,

I have great memories of both your Mom and Dad, as a kid I enjoyed fishing in the pond, hunting arrowheads in the fields, getting zapped by the electric fence and my first experience riding on a mule. 
When I was 17, I purchased land from Margaret & Bud , next to my parents property, purchased from them years earlier.
I always made a point to hand deliver my payment around dinner time, knowing I would be asked to sit down for a meal. I will never forget Margaret telling me that even though I had finished my payment obligation on the land, I should continue to stop in anytime. 
The horse farm is no longer, Bud and Margaret are now together, and I feel blessed to have known them, and to have a small piece of what was once called  'Paradise'

Dottie and Gary...Margaret was a wonderful lady....I am sure she was lovingly received by Bud, Dale and my parents too....she may have even brought a hot milk cake!!!!  We will miss her too!!!!

We so enjoyed "Mama's" personality and sense of humor.  It was always a pleasure to be in her company.  Thank you for sharing her with your friends.  We share your sorrow.

Dear Dottie & Gary,  Margaret was one of the most welcoming people we have ever known.  It has been a privilege to work with her at the TP.  She can walk through the Pearly Gates with expert credentials in folding, greeting card matching and hanger sorting.  We will miss you Margaret.

Thank you Mrs. Jones for keeping a special eye on all of us crazy kids throughout the1960 's 1970's and 1980's . Paradise Farm was our second home and for most of us , and always a safe haven, a place to be ourselves away from the crazy world influences. I know it shaped my whole furture .  Thank you and Mr. Jones, for helping me become ME !!!

Dear Dottie & Gary:
How blessed we were to have know Mother and spent so much time in her company.  She always brightened our days and kept us marvelling at her energy.  The great memories we have will keep her alive in our hearts as we miss being around her.
