Predeceased by his parents, Francesco and Maria, and eldest brother to John (Barbara), Rudy, Nick (Vera), and uncle to nieces and nephew Mary, Frank, Christina and Nicole; Peter was an exceptional man. Born in Italy and immigrating to Canada at 17 years old, he became the first person in the family to graduate from university and proceeded with a long and successful career as a chemical engineer. He worked all over the world, was well known for his sharp intelligence, and garnered great respect among his peers.
To his family, he was not just the older brother and proud uncle. He wanted nothing but the absolute best for his family, always checking in with his brothers and making sure his nieces and nephew were reaching for the stars. He was exceptional in everything he did for them.
He battled COVID-19 and leukemia with valiance, exactitude, and firm resolve. In a world where some of his grandparents and great-grandparents lived into their 90s and his parents into their 80s, it is something of an injustice to bid him the final farewell in his 70s. All who knew him will greatly miss his presence in their lives. He will be celebrated for his exceptional tastes in music, literature, and automotive technology. He will always be remembered for his deeply rooted care and concern for his family.
