Josephine Annie Krenek

Josephine Annie Krenek, age 94, passed away on Friday, July 26, 2024. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 5-7pm at Colonial Funeral Home, followed by a rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, July 31, 2024 at 10am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, with burial following at Resurrection Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Josh Campbell, Cole Campbell, Johnny Parks, Dylan Parks, Boyd Schendel and Tracer Schendel.

Josephine was born April 25, 1930 in Victoria, Texas to the late Joseph and Annie Neisser. She was a member of the Altar Society at Our Lady of Lourdes. She enjoyed gardening and fishing and loved to go dancing.

She is survived by her children, Eileen Shannon (Dave), Joseph Stastny, Jr. (Diane) and Gerald Stastny; sister, Dorothy Bailey; grandchildren, Melissa Parks (Johnny), Cheryl Campbell (Josh), Melanie Schendel (Boyd) and Jeff Shannon (Tracey); and 8 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Neisser and Annie Lehnert Neisser; first husband, Joseph Stastny, Sr.; second husband, Edward Krenek; grandson, Chad Shannon; and brother, Edwin Neisser.
