Biographie

Florina Iacovetto was born on February 3, 1941 to Flory and Rosie and already had a sister, Rosemary, waiting to be the “big sister.” What a wonderful life and memories they all had: Live Christmas Nativity Scenes in their yard, great trips to State Bridge, Rodeos, St. Patrick’s Day Parties and family Christmas parties.

Florina married David Coffey at Mount Carmel in Denver, Colorado. They had Kevin, an armful of love and a handful!! He proved to be a caring, loving son to each of them to the end. Kevin married Michelle Falasco and they had Kyle and Lanae, two precious grandchildren who have grown up and are using their many talents and gifts to become the great individuals we know and love. Rosemary, her sister, had two children, Scott and Kim. Florina was the godmother to Kim.

Florina’s life took many turns and she was involved with many enterprises as well as being a wife and mother. She started the Bronco Club for women called the Front Line Booster Club. She sold real estate and had her own realty firm, called Coffey Realty. Florina designed and sold beautiful jewelry and many of us were recipients of it. She sold Holiday Magic cosmetics. She also worked for the suicide hot line and was very outgoing with everyone she met.
SEE MOVIE 1980 LEGEND OF ALFRED PACKARD. She had quite a sense of humor and was always up for a good time or a quick prank. David’s nickname for her was Pepe.

Loyalty to family was one of her great assets too, and we share many wonderful memories. Her last years were blessed with wonderful care at Mary Crest where she made many friends with the staff and residents.Best way to celebrate her life is to go out to dinner and share your best memories and stories.
