Bobbie Jean Landry

Bobbie was born July 3, 1948, in Biloxi, MS.

Bobbie was perpetually happy with a radiant smile. She loved gardening, reading, crafting and cooking. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, and she loved the beach and warm weather. Most of all, she was a devoted wife and mother, whose love for her family was second only to her love for the Lord.

She was retired from Mary Washington Hospital, Fredericksburg, VA where she was an x-ray assistant for 8 years. She was a dental and orthodontic assistant for 21 years working for several dentists in the Omaha, NE and Northern Virginia area.

Surviving are her husband, Michael Landry, son, Gene Lawrence of Hagerstown, MD, and step-sons, James M. Landry of Rancho Cucamonga, CA and Brian J. Landry of Fremont, NE; sisters, Mary Norris of Biloxi, MS; Lois Cothern of Ocean Springs, MS; brothers, Charles Martinez of Asheville, NC; Jose Martinez of Long Beach, MS; and Patrick Decker of Irving, TX.

Her family and friends will celebrate her life at 1PM, Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Harbor United Methodist Church, 4853 Masonboro Loop Road, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice, 1414 Physicians Drive, Wilmington, NC, 28401, or ASPCA.
