Jayson is survived by his parents Garth and Janice, he is also survived by his paternal grandmother Anne Daku and his maternal grandmother Elsie Schieve; aunties Tina (Frank) Beke and family and Terresa; uncles Brian (Pam) Schieve and family, Gary Schieve, Colin (Anne) Schieve and family and numerous friends.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Arnold Daku and his maternal grandfather Allen Schieve
