He was born on October 5, 1963 in Mexicali, Mexico the first child of Francisco Chee and Maria Sanchez.
He will be missed by his father, Lily Chee (wife) and Manuel Chee (son), and his surviving brother Zhu Wen Tao. He was devoted to his family and worked hard to provide for them.
Manuel loved to cook, garden, fish, hunt and raise poultry. He used to own a popular restaurant in Yuma, Tai-San, as well as several others, managing them all. He could speak several languages, such as English, Spanish and a few Chinese dialects. He truly believed that if you worked hard, treated people right ( and with a bit of luck from God); you could have a good life. He was proud to be an American citizen and "live the dream" with his family.
He is under the care of Johnson Mortuary & Desert Lawn Memorial Park.
