Conocí a Selene y a Veronica en la primaria (2o. grado) el autobus escolar que nos llevaba a la escuela Josefa Ortiz de Dominguez en Reynosa.  Viviamos a unas cuadras y recuerdo como si fuera ayer como jugabamos en el autobus y en un par de ocasiones fui a sus casa a jugar en la terraza de frente de su casa.  Recuerdo muy clarito como se le callo uno de sus dientes delanteros y tardo muchisimo para salirle el nuevo.  Despues de tiempo perdimos contacto y nos volvimos a ver en Facebook alrededor del 2012.  Que Dios la tenga en su santa gloria y brinde consuelo a sus hijas, padres, hermanas, y demas familiares y amistades que vieron crecer y brillar a tan magnifico ser humano.

God knows why he puts certain people in our paths! Selene was one of those with such a beautiful soul! We meet around 6th grade.. She will forever be remembered as the great friend that even though we stopped seeing each other for many many years; it didn’t matter. She took the time to stop by and have lunch with me in San Marcos! So dedicated! Good bless her. I will miss my dear friend!

To the family of Selene, I'm so sorry for your loss.  I went to school with Selene, well with las cuatas.  Please accept my deepest condolences.   Only as a family  can you  over come such a huge loss.  Even though  it will never be the same, together you can overcome anything.  God Bless you,

Selene,  I still  can't believe you are gone. I am so glad I went to see you a couple days before you passed. I remember you holding my hand feeling bad for me. That was so you. Instead of focusing on your pain, you were focused on mine. You said how God has a plan for everything that happens.  I still don't understand his plan. Not sure why someone like you, so devoted to God, had to go through what you went through. I will always remember your smile and how happy you were. How your eyes lit up when you saw a "Christmas tree" in Colorado . You were so happy on your wedding day and I am glad I was there by your side to share those memories. Thank you for your advice and words of wisdom. I will miss you.

My beautiful wife loved Colorado mountains. Always had a radiant smile, and was quick to forgive people. She was full of love and light. Truly a one of a kind! I miss miss you my love, but I love you 3000!

My dearest Tia Selene,
You are no longer suffering and in so much pain. God has given you your special wings to join him. You were called home. Ill always cherish the memories we had. I love you forever! I'll miss you always!! Fly high my sweet guardian angel! 

Dear Family: I dont even know where to start. To begin with I dont even believe im actually writing this for Selene because shes gone, it just seems so unbelievable and unfair. We hadnt seen each other in years and thats something that of course i now regret but well, thats something i will have to live with but I will also live with the great memories I have of her which I am thankful to God that he granted them to me and even if they are mostly from the history we had together of hanging out with our girls when they were small and working together. None the less, it doesnt make my sorrow any smaller and I wish this was just a nightmare. But it is real and all thats left to say is how I admired her and thought she was an amazing woman , a great friend and wonderful mother to her three precious princesses. And the only explanation I find for her leaving so soon is because God needed another angel right at this moment. My deepest sympathies to her daughters, her parents, sisters, and the whole family. May God give you peace and comfort in the only way He can. God Bless You today and always
