Laurie Gioia

On Saturday, June 12, 2021, Laurie Grossman Gioia, loving wife, mother, grandmother and dear friend to many passed away at the age of 74. Laurie was born on March 18, 1947 in Manhattan. She was a singer, actress and all-around entertainer. She lived for her family and friends, loved to cook and entertain and wrapped everyone around her with her boundless love and laughter. She was a bright light in so many lives and will be incredibly missed. She is survived by her husband Robert, children William (Karen), Sascha and Gianna (David), and grandsons Julian and Fernando. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 16, 2021 at Riverside Memorial Chapel at 180 West 76th Street at 11AM. Donations in her memory can be sent to Broadway Cares.
