Brigitta W. Dyson

She was predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Tom; her parents, three brothers, two sisters; a loving son-in-law, William; and several extended family members. Brigitta is survived by her daughters, Barbara Hudson and Susie Pence (John); three grandchildren, Terry Wells (Billy), T.J. Hudson (Lisa) and Eric Tucker (Mary); five great-grandchildren, Michael (Ashley), Arika, A.J., Chase and John; two great-great-grandchildren, Asher and Aiden. Brigitta continues to have family in her birth place, Germany. Her family here also includes her sister-in-law, Thelma Myers; brother-in-law, John Dyson (Joyce); also several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at Harmony’s Memory Care facility and the staff at Ascend Hospice.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at Nelsen Funeral Home, 4650 S. Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. 23231, where a service will be held on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 2 p.m. Interment will follow in Washington Memorial Park.
