Dirk was born on January 1, 1957 in Lawrence, Kansas to Gary Orin Tucker and Margaret Joanne Gastwint. He attended and graduated from Blue Valley High School “Class of 1975”. He was a truck driver for Bazin Excavation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed.
Dirk is preceded in death by his father Gary Orin Tucker. He is survived by his mother Margaret Gastwint, two sons Derek O. Tucker of Lenexa, Kansas and Gary O. Tucker of Spring Hill, Kansas. Left behind to cherish his memory are his five grandchildren Adrianna Roberts, Jasper Tucker, Ryan Tucker, Olivia Call and Caydince Tucker. Dirk is also survived by his sister Jill Antoine and her husband Chris of Wellsville, Kansas and nephews Jeremiah Wardle and Justin Wardle.
“Celebration of Life” 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 25, 2021 at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home 105 East Loula Street Olathe, Kansas 66061. Inurnment in Memorial Park Cemetery 3223 North 18th Street Kansas City, Kansas. Visitation will be 10:00 a.m.to 11:00 a.m. one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
