Fred Chester Whistleman, 94, of Fallston, MD, passed away on September 29, 2021 in Randallstown, MD.

Fred was born in Augusta County, Virginia to Charles Burton Whistleman and Lida Beulah (Hodge) Whistleman on January 26, 1927. He graduated from Stuarts Draft High School in 1944. Fred was trained as a chef while serving in the Army but spent most of his life working in Real Estate. He devoted his life to studies of food and nutrition.

Fred Whistleman is preceded in death by his sister, Cleo Whistleman Kerby Welch, and his brothers, Leo Whistleman, Waldo Whistleman, William Whistleman and Lewis Whistleman.

Fred never had any children but is survived by his sister-in-law, Cleo Whistleman; nephew, Gary Whistleman; and nieces Lida Kerby Kafka, Judith Kerby Hamilton, Susan Whistleman Patterson and Jennifer Whistleman.

A private graveside service will held on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Riverview Cemetery, Waynesboro, Virginia.

There will be no public viewing or visitation at the funeral home.
