John Amador Yeppez

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 14 at Santa Teresa Catholic Church. Interment with military honors will be held at Bryan City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 7 p.m. with a rosary service at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Memorial Funeral Chapel in Bryan.

John was born March 11, 1976 in Frankfurt, Germany the son of (RET.) Army 1SG Johnny and Dorothy (Munoz) Yeppez. He graduated from Bryan High School; then proudly serving our country in the U.S. Army and National Guard Infantry. John enjoyed cooking, grilling (especially fajitas), fishing and gardening. He loved watching Dallas Cowboys football and the Aggies. He dearly loved his son and daughter; and being married to his wife Amy.

John is preceded in death by his grandparents, Guadalupe Cerda Sandoval, Amador and Louise Munoz; uncles, Joe Martin Munoz and Steve Bruck; great-aunts, Mary Espinoza, Ophelia Cerda, Christina Yeppez, and Rebecca Cerda; great-uncles, Felipe Cerda Sr. and Oscar Yeppez.

He is survived by his wife Amy Yeppez; daughter, Jessica Teegarden and husband Levi; son, John A. Yeppez II; step-children, Ashley Carroll, James Carroll and wife Alesha, Stephanie Carroll; grandson, Jaxon Teegarden; step-grandchildren, Andrew Gonzales, Hasten Carroll, Ashton Vonn; parents, (RET.) Army 1SG Johnny and Dorothy Yeppez; sisters, Rexene Sanchez and husband Tony, Faith Yeppez; brothers, James A. Yeppez, Marco P. Yeppez; nieces and nephews, Aaron Booth, Joshua Booth, Briana Yeppez, James Anthony Yeppez II, Ethan A. Jimenez, Andrea Jimenez, Lizzie Jimenez, Andrew Jimenez, great-nephew, Maddox Booth, and numerous cousins as well.

Pallbearers will be James A. Yeppez, Marco P. Yeppez, Ethan A. Jimenez, Aaron Booth, Joshua Booth, James Carroll, Oscar Juarez, and Frank Juarez.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff for the care, dignity and respect they gave to John.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Temple V.A. Hospital in support of our veterans.
