Pete is survived by; mother Janie Ramos Vega of Lockhart, Texas and step father Michael Polk of Lockhart, Texas; brothers John Vega (Cynthia) of Gonzales, Texas, Gilbert Vega (Kristi) of Lockhart, Texas, sisters Lisa Lopez (Roger) of San Antonio, Texas, Rachael Cardoza (Mario) of Gonzales, Texas, Marion Vega of Lockhart, Texas, Rebecca Castillo (Alvin) of Austin, Texas, Michelle Polk of San Antonio, Texas, Beatrice Polk of Lockhart, Texas; and step children Cruz Flores and Raeanna Flores.

Pete was preceded in death by; father Pete H. Vega, Sr.

Serving as pallbearers are John Ramos, Frank Ramos, Jason Castillo, Josh Castillo, Adrian Ramirez Vega, Gilbert Vega Jr., Mario Cardoza Jr. and Tony Lomas.

A visitation for Pete will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2020 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Buffington Funeral Home, Gonzales, Texas. A graveside service will occur Thursday, May 28, 2020 at 11:15 AM at St. James Catholic Cemetery, Gonzales, Texas.
