Vivian Edwards

She is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Eddie (Danielle L.) Lovick and Danielle N. Lovick, great-grandsons, Carter and Parker Lovick, her sister, Julie Edwards, niece, Mitzi Edwards, great nieces, Misty Thomas and Miyana Edwards, great great niece, Misty Robinson, great great nephews, Taurean and Tobias Robinson and Cruise Edwards, loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eddie B. and Mary Edwards, and brother, James Edwards.

Vivian confessed Christ in the early '60s and joined New Light Baptist Church in Marthaville, LA, under Rev. Newman's leadership. She worked at Washington Youree Hotel and Kroger Cafeteria for over 15 years, then Caddo Parrish School Board for five years. She was the Nanny for Dr. David Waddell for 15 years, where she raised 4 of his children like they were her own.

Vivian's favorite things to do were working for the church and singing. She worked as a Pastor's Aide for over 20 years at Midway Baptist Church II. Vivian formed her very own Gospel Group, "The Wings of Joy," and sang in the group for over 15 years before going solo and making her very own CD "The Anointed Voice for Christ – Since I found Jesus."

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 4-8 p.m. in rotation with 10 persons intervals at Horis A. Ward Funeral Home, 376 Fairview Road, Stockbridge, Georgia where a Funeral Service (with limited seating) to celebrate her life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 10 a.m.
