Parkdale Cemetery is honored to provide cemetery services to families in Arlington, Texas. Located in downtown Arlington and adjacent to Arlington Cemetery, we offer a beautiful and dignified place to remember and memorialize your loved ones.

An ideal resting place

Our 17-acre Parkdale Cemetery offers a select range of burial options to suit your needs, taste and style. Traditional in-ground burial, with flat markers or raised monuments, represents a classic choice. Our professional and experienced associates will be there for you to choose the option that best meets your needs. We're also affiliated with Moore Funeral Home and Moore Memorial Gardens, both a convenient 10-minute drive from Parkdale Cemetery.

A trusted provider

We are proud to be a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery providers. When you choose Parkdale Cemetery, you not only receive the compassionate care you expect from an Arlington-operated establishment, but also the value you deserve from the largest network of funeral, cremation and memorialization services in North America.

In May 1910, Hugh M. and Mary Moore opened Moore Funeral Home in downtown Arlington, at the corner of Main and Mesquite streets. It was located in the back of E.E. Smith Furniture and House Furnishings. Their 3 sons—Harry, Howard “Gumpy” and Robert “Bob”—joined their father as the funeral home business grew to accommodate a growing population.

In the 30s, Hugh established Parkdale Cemetery on Mary Street. The cemetery also adjoins Arlington Cemetery. In the mid-50s, Moore Funeral Home acquired White Chapel Memorial Gardens in what was then far North Arlington. Renamed Moore Memorial Gardens, the Moore brothers built a funeral home on the grounds. It opened on North Davis Drive in 1963.

As the population of the city of Arlington continued to expand, so did Moore Funeral Home. In 1996, the brothers opened a 3rd Arlington-area location—Moore Funeral Home, Bowen Road Chapel—at the corner of Bowen Road and Pleasant Springs, near I-20, to conveniently serve the needs of southeast Tarrant County, including Mansfield and Kennedale.
