Steve started his career as an apprentice with Karlo & Sons Funeral Home in 1986 and became a licensed funeral director in November 1987. Steve has been location manager at Karlo-Libby Funeral Home since 1998.
Steve is a member of St. Michael Catholic Church, where he served as a scoutmaster for several years. He is also active in the St. Michael JuBELLation handbell choir.
Brooklyn Denise Dawson
Brooklyn Dawson is a licensed funeral director at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. She was born in Monroe, Louisiana, and moved to the small town of Bucyrus, Ohio, where she and her 2 younger siblings were raised.
A sixth-grade career project introduced Brooklyn to the art of the funeral business. She volunteered for 3 years at a local funeral home in Bucyrus, where she fell in love with funeral directing. She graduated from the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in December 2014 and began her apprenticeship at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home in January 2015. Brooklyn obtained her funeral director license in July 2016 and looks forward to serving Coshocton for many more years.
Brooklyn enjoys spending her free time reading, visiting family, crocheting, going to the movies and seeing friends.
