    Jeffrey R Dimond


    Jeffrey is a 1981 graduate of Mount St. Mary’s University and a 1983 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He is a third-generation funeral director whose family has been in the funeral business since 1896. Jeff has been a licensed funeral director since 1984 and has been with Harry and Bryant since February 2001.

    Jeff has been married since 1983 and has 2 children and a grandson. Jeff enjoys reading, swimming and hiking.

    Kim Brandon Cook

    Funeral Director

    Kim "Brandon" Cook, a native of the Charlotte area, has always had a desire to help others. Following graduation from college where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Christian education, he was employed as program director in a home for children for several years before assuming a position as associate pastor and minister of music.

    In his early 30’s Brandon returned to college receiving a degree in funeral service and has served the people of Charlotte since 1993. However, he continues to share his music by serving part-time as an organist and minister of music in an area church.

    Brandon has a daughter and 2 grandchildren. His interests include music, history and genealogy.

    Erik Starr Johnson

    Funeral Director

    Erik was born in Roanoke, Virginia, and raised in the Charlotte area of Myers Park. He attended the Charlotte Mecklenburg school system and graduated from Myers Park High School, class of 1976. Having a desire to serve and an interest in ministry, Erik earned a Bachelor of Arts in Bible and theology. After serving a pastoral internship in the Charlotte area he relocated to western North Carolina to be a senior pastor of a denominational church in the Waynesville area. He returned to the Charlotte area after several years to become the founding pastor of a non-denominational church, where he completed 10 years as a senior pastor.

    Always having an interest in funeral service, Erik enrolled at Fayetteville Technical College and graduated from the funeral service program. He has been serving the Charlotte area in funeral service since 2006. Erik also continues to hold licensing and ordination as an interfaith minister. He loves to serve families as a funeral service celebrant, chaplain and wedding officiant.

    Erik has 1 son and enjoys reading, book collecting, theology, history and genealogy studies.
