Kim "Brandon" Cook, a native of the Charlotte area, has always had a desire to help others. Following graduation from college where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Christian education, he was employed as program director in a home for children for several years before assuming a position as associate pastor and minister of music.
In his early 30’s Brandon returned to college receiving a degree in funeral service and has served the people of Charlotte since 1993. However, he continues to share his music by serving part-time as an organist and minister of music in an area church.
Brandon has a daughter and 2 grandchildren. His interests include music, history and genealogy.
Alice J Pegram
Alice Pegram appreciates the opportunity to provide dignified comfort to families in the Charlotte, North Carolina, area at the McEwen Funeral Home-Pineville Chapel. Alice is a native Charlottean and has watched the McEwen-Pineville Chapel grow since its beginning in 1993. Alice persistently encourages families to have the planning ahead conversation. Knowing a person’s final wishes can help to personalize the funeral service and provide peace of mind. Alice enjoys her 5 grandchildren, gardening and worshiping at Pineville Church of the Nazarene.
Kelley M Shaffer
A native of Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania, Kelley Shaffer is a licensed funeral director. She graduated from the Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science in 2009 and also holds a criminal justice degree from Edinboro University. Kelley and her husband live in uptown Charlotte. She prides herself on the close relationships she establishes with the families she serves.
