    Robert Samuel Branum


    Robert has been in the funeral profession since 1997. Beginning in cemetery sales and family service, Robert earned his funeral director's license in 2001. He then worked in several East Tennessee funeral homes as funeral director, location manager and general manager.

    In 2018, Robert became location manager at Linn Honeycutt Landis Funeral Homes. In his words, "It's been a great honor to come back to work for the company where I began my career many years ago, and I look forward to serving families for many years to come."

    Robert lives in Statesville with his wife and three daughters. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, family and serving in his church.

    Peter M Calcutta

    General Manager

    Peter started his career in funeral service at the age of 17, as an apprentice at Michael Heggarty Funeral Home in Old Bridge, New Jersey. After graduating from Marlboro High School in Marlboro, New Jersey, he attended Mercer County Community College, where he earned degrees in business and mortuary science. He has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for 21 years, working most of his career in family-owned businesses throughout New Jersey. Today, Peter is general manager at several Dignity Memorial locations in North Carolina.

    Peter is happily married to his wife, Gretchen. They live in Mooresville, North Carolina, with their three children—Peter Jr., Victoria and Samantha—and two dogs, Maya and Gracie. They are parishioners of St. Therese Catholic Church.

    In his time away from work, Peter likes to watch the New York Giants, New York Yankees and his children’s sporting events. He loves fishing and cars from all decades—especially the Corvette.

    John W Drye

    Funeral Director

    John Drye was raised and still resides in Landis, North Carolina. Educated in the Rowan County schools, he received his Bachelor of Science in business administration from Catawba College in 1977.

    Earlier in life John worked in textiles, having received an associate degree in textile manufacturing. He entered the funeral profession in 1994, receiving his associate degree from Fayetteville Community College in 1997. He has been licensed as a funeral director in North Carolina ever since and has been employed by Linn Honeycutt Funeral Home since 1994.

    John is a member of the China Grove Civitan Club, past president of the Landis Lions Club and a member of First Reformed Church in Landis. He is married and has three children. John enjoys cycling and running.
