Michael is a licensed funeral director with Kraeer Funeral Home for 45 years. He and his wife, Leslie, have been married for 35 years and have 2 sons, Daniel and Tyler. Michael volunteers much of his time to the North Creek Presbyterian Church and the many charities that they assist as well as the Coconut Creek Explorers Unit.
Larry M Ott
Larry, originally from Gladstone, Michigan, and a graduate of Trinity College, spent years as a school teacher before returning to school to receive a degree in mortuary science from Miami Dade College. He has been a funeral director with the Dignity Memorial® network since the early 1990s.
A past member of the board of trustees for Fort Lauderdale City Cemeteries, Larry currently serves on the Broward County Navy League and volunteers with Fort Lauderdale’s annual Fleet Week. He coordinates a Christmas project for the Fort Lauderdale Life Guards each year and is a deacon at his church. In his free time, Larry spends time at the beach, collects cigar boxes and humidors and watches British TV programs.
Robert Dale Russell
Robert Russell started working at the R. Jay Kraeer Funeral Home in July 1967. He began as a general employee—working funerals, making removals, running ambulance service and cutting the grass. Bob graduated from Miami Dade College with a degree in mortuary science. He became a licensed embalmer in 1971 and a licensed funeral director the following year.
In 1974, Bob became the manager of the Kraeer Fort Lauderdale location and by 1976 was managing 5 more locations. Previously a co-owner, Bob has remained dedicated to the Kraeer Funeral Home family and has been a consistent presence throughout several changes. Bob served as a regional partner over operations in Florida and Puerto Rico before transitioning to his position as a consultant.
Bob served on the board of the Florida Funeral Directors Association including a term as president. He is also the president of several Osceola County funeral homes and cemeteries.
Bob is married and has 3 children and 3 grandchildren and in his free time enjoys fishing, traveling and spending time with his family.
