Michael Strite has served in Lincoln County, Washington, and the surrounding areas since the 1980s. As a compassionate and caring professional who is passionate about serving his community, he has given families comfort in knowing that he will be there at their time of need.
Raised in Davenport, Mike has a great understanding of what it means to care for his family, neighbors and others. He graduated from Davenport High School and earned his degree at Mt. Hood Community College. After college, he returned to Davenport to continue the outstanding service that Strate Funeral Home has offered families since the 1920s.
Mike has served on the Davenport school board, helps build and drive floats for community parades, and attends Bible Baptist Church. Mike is married and has four children and several grandchildren whom he adores.
Daniel L Verheul
Daniel Verheul has assisted families in almost every capacity at our funeral homes. Having recently rejoined the operations team as a funeral director and embalmer, Dan has also served as a manager and pre-planning sales director and is an expert in helping families honor the life of their loved one. He is delighted to spend more time with the families we serve as well as his personal family.
Dan has been involved in chairing the Lilac Festival Military Torchlight Parade along with his many activities with his church and Kiwanis. Married since the early 1980s, Dan and his wife have been enjoying their granddaughter and recently felt truly blessed to welcome their 2nd grandchild. Dan continually pursues excellence in serving our families and our community while spending quality time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
