Let's celebrate life
Every person's life is unique—and deserves to be celebrated in a unique way. At Bratcher Funeral Home, our team is skilled at creating one-of-a-kind memorials that celebrate a loved one's passions and personality. There's almost no limit to what we can do. Imagine a putting green in the chapel with personalized golf balls for every guest. Envision a live jazz band playing while guests dine on your loved one's favorite foods during a catered reception. Of course, if you prefer a more traditional funeral service, we are happy to do that, too.

Bratcher Funeral Home was originally established in 1919 as George Shields Funeral Home, which later changed its name to Short-Murray Funeral Home. The Bratcher tradition began in 1944 when Norman Bratcher purchased the historic firm and changed its name to Bratcher-Moore. The name was changed to Bratcher Funeral Home in 1957.
With decades of experience in conducting funeral services, Bratcher Funeral Home has become a Denison tradition. Please visit us at our historic funeral home on West Woodward Street.
