Our beautiful North Denver funeral home
Our facility's timeless architecture—with its tile roof, airy covered breezeway, vaulted ceiling and warm wood—sets the stage for a comfortable and serene experience. Perhaps our location's most unique feature is its fully enclosed semi-circular driveway, which allows your family to enter and exit the building in complete comfort, regardless of weather conditions. Once inside, your family may enjoy our warm fireplace and custom refreshment center or simply relax while listening to the sounds of our indoor waterfall and pond.
Personalized funerals and celebrations
We work hard to create a unique and beautiful celebration of a life lived—one specifically designed with your wishes and desires in mind. Whether this is through the use of imagery or music, personal items or an intimate reception, we are equipped to handle the entire service.
Our chapel and state room are both have full audio and video capabilities, complete with iPod connections. Our reception room, conveniently located within the facility, works to offer a comfortable place for your small group to gather and spend time with friends and family before they make their way home.
We Honor Veterans
At Olinger Moore Howard Chapel, we understand the unique needs of America’s veterans and their families. As a Level Four Founding Community Partner with We Honor Veterans, we are honored to serve our nation’s heroes and take this responsibility seriously. We have taken steps to ensure our staff is knowledgeable of all the benefits available to military veterans and their families.
In addition, we host community events annually in honor of our veterans and work closely with local veterans organizations. With respect, integrity and dignity, we will walk you through the steps of creating a veteran’s memorial service that truly honors the life and sacrifice of your loved one.
Honored with awards
Within the 2% of funeral homes recognized annually by the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA), Olinger Moore Howard Funeral Chapel holds the prestigious Pursuit of Excellence Award for 2008 and 2009. The Pursuit of Excellence Award recognizes NFDA members for their outstanding community service, professional integrity and ethical standards. Criteria for the award include compliance with state and federal regulations, continuing education and staff development, family outreach and support and professional association service and participation.
Support through challenging times
Understanding that the loss of a loved one is an emotional and difficult experience, we have created a monthly support group to help you. The group is open to anyone that has experienced a loss and is looking for a place to receive support.
We utilize a variety of resources to provide emotional, physical and spiritual support in a safe and non-judgmental manner. This is a continuation of our belief that our services, guidance and support do not end with the funeral or memorial service. We’re always here for you and your family and will be for years to come.
