    Andrew Alexander

    Funeral Director

    Andrew is a 1988 graduate of North High School, a 1992 graduate of DePauw University and a 1993 graduate of Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science. He has since served in the funeral industry and enjoys helping people in our community by making funeral planning easier and creating a special tribute to the lives of their loved ones.

    Andrew is a longtime member of the Rotary Club of Evansville and Holy Rosary Catholic Church. In his free time he volunteers for Habitat for Humanity of Evansville.

    Andrew grew up in Evansville, lived in Newburgh for 10 years after graduating college and now lives on the north side of Evansville with his wife, daughter and 2 sons. He enjoys spending time with his children and supporting their endeavors. He also enjoys playing a variety of sports and being outdoors.

    Andrew lives life with this Alan Wallace quote in mind: “Life is a flash of lightning in the dark of night. It is a brief time of tremendous potential.”

    Matthew T Alexander

    General Manager

    Matt is the fifth generation of the Alexander family to work in funeral service. He became a licensed funeral director in Indiana in 1994 and is a past district director of the Indiana Funeral Directors Association. Matt enjoys educating the community about the funeral profession and resources available within the Dignity Memorial network.

    A native son of Evansville, Matt graduated from Evansville Day School in 1987 and Indiana University in 1991. He is a member of the Evansville Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite Cathedral and Hadi Shrine Temple. He and his wife live near the University of Evansville. They have four children.

    Jeffrey W Alvey

    Funeral Director

    Jeffrey is a 1993 graduate of North Posey High School and a 1995 graduate of University of Southern Indiana. He attended Mid-America College of Funeral Service in 1996. Jeff has been a funeral director since 1999 and enjoys working with families, helping them anyway he can.

    A native of Evansville, Jeff is the oldest of 7 kids. He enjoys working alongside his younger sister, Jennifer (Alvey) Hoehn, at Alexander Funeral Home. He has 2 children, coaches baseball at St. Wendel and enjoys doing anything outdoors. Jeff is also a member of the West Side Nut Club and St. Wendel Athletic Club.

    Michael E Wittenbraker

    Funeral Director

    Michael is a 1981 graduate of Castle High School and a 1983 mortuary science graduate of Vincennes University. He has been a funeral director since 1984 and has served at Alexander Funeral Homes since 1997. Mike enjoys meeting new people and considers it a privilege to help them in their time of need.

    Mike teaches firefighting classes for surrounding fire departments, as well as for the state of Indiana. He is a member of Zion United Church of Christ, several local committees for the betterment of the Newburgh area and has been a Newburgh Volunteer Fire Department member since 1984. He was past president of the Warrick County Fire Chiefs Association and the Newburgh Volunteer Firefighter’s Association.

    Mike and his wife have been married since 1985. They have 2 married sons and 3 grandchildren. Mike is a lifelong resident of Newburgh and enjoys being with family, spending time outside and maintaining his home.

    Jennifer Dawn Kueber

    Funeral Director

    Jennifer is a 2001 graduate of Central High School and a 2004 graduate of mortuary science at Vincennes University. From 2007 to 2009 she attended the University of Southern Indiana. Jennifer considers it an honor to help create memorable tributes for the loved ones of those who walk through the door. She was born and raised in Evansville and has lived in Mt. Vernon since 2007. When not working, Jennifer loves to read, spoil her nieces and nephews and spend time with her husband. She also enjoys spending the summers boating with her husband. Jennifer’s family and friends are truly the center of her life. Her favorite quote is: “Never get tired of doing little things for others. Sometimes those little things occupy the biggest parts of their hearts.”

    James Palmer

    Funeral Director

    James is a 1959 graduate of Washington High School and a 1962 graduate of the College of Mortuary Science in Indianapolis. Jim also attended Oakland City College in Indiana. He has been a funeral director for over half a century, and has served at Alexander Funeral Homes since 1985.

    Jim is married to his wife, a nursing instructor retiree from Henderson Community College in Henderson, Kentucky. A longtime member of the Evansville community, Jim enjoys playing basketball in his spare time.
