    Manager
    License #: FD CA-FDR-3119

Erin "Stephanie" Herrera-Alvarez began her career with us in 2009 as a licensed funeral director, and is now serving as the location manager.

Born and raised in Garden Grove, California, Stephanie is among a long line of family members who graduated from Garden Grove High School. She attended Cypress College, graduating with her degree in mortuary science. Prior to entering the field of funeral service she contemplated a career in nursing. After much thought, Stephanie realized that her true calling was to assist families during their most difficult times and provide them compassion, support and a true helping hand.

Stephanie’s passion for her work and for the Garden Grove community continues to drive her to do all she can to serve families with the utmost respect, love and dignity. She attends and volunteers at her home parish of St. Columban Catholic Church.

Stephanie still resides in Garden Grove with her husband and children. In her spare time, she enjoys watching her daughter play soccer and sing in the high school choir. She also enjoys spending quality time with her family, extended family and her 2 beloved dogs.

    Vina Phuong Dinh

    Funeral Arranger

Vina Dinh was born in Vietnam and migrated with her family to United States when she was a little girl. Born to a Marine father and a middle school teacher, she was taught to be obedient, humble, compassionate, kind hearted and understanding.

Vina was first introduced to our funeral home family in October 2009 by a family member who thought her ability to speak fluently in both Vietnamese and English would be a great asset to the funeral industry. She is known for her calm and compassionate manner and her ability to create a memorable service for each family.

Vina strives to preserve her Vietnamese culture and grew up active within the Vietnamese community through the Buddhist Youth Organization (GDPT) and the Vietnamese Student Association during her college years.

    Angelica Garcia

    Funeral Arranger

Angelica became a part of the Dignity Memorial® family in 2009 as a hospitality director and later assumed more responsibilities as a funeral arranger. A near death experience in 2007 during a car accident and the loss of 3 family members within a year and a half motivated Angelica to seek real purpose in her life.

Understanding what it feels like to lose a loved one, knowing the pain and grief herself, led her to her current vocation of helping people. Her mother always told her, "God chose the name for you and someday you will find out why." Reflecting back on the words of her mother, she has come to realize her name means becoming someone’s Angel, during a difficult time in his or her life.

As her role in the funeral business grew Angelica learned to appreciate it comes with big responsibilities. It involves taking in the deep sorrow of others. It involves giving a grieving family a listening ear and a shoulder to cry on. It involves treating each family as though they are your own and never forgetting that everyone is someone's loved one.

Thanks to Angelica's hard work, compassion and ability to speak English and Spanish, she is a great asset to our funeral home team. Her involvement and dedication is truly invaluable.
