Sherrie Bream Funeral Home has been an important part of Gasport, New York, and the surrounding communities for more than 75 years.
As part of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers, the funeral home offers a comprehensive range of products and services. Elton and Cleora Bream established Bream Funeral Home in 1937. Elton served the Gasport community as a licensed funeral director for more than 5 decades. Cleora was a licensed funeral director and registered nurse; she operated the only ambulance service in Gasport area for many years.
In 1972, Kenneth H. Sherrie Sr. purchased Bream Funeral Home and renamed it Sherrie Bream Funeral Home. Kenneth H. Sherrie II became manager of the funeral home in 1978, though Cleora stayed on to assist with funerals until 1990.
Sherrie Bream Funeral Home is a member of the Dignity Memorial network, the largest group of funeral, cremation and cemetery providers in North America. Ken and his wife Gigi continue to manage the business, upholding a decades-long tradition of compassionate care and excellent service.
