Mike is married and is the father of 3 children. He is a member of Saint Pius the Tenth Catholic Church and the Nat Greene Kiwanis Club and enjoys biking, skiing and all things outdoors.
Beth A Harrington
Beth was born in Greensboro and has lived here most of her life. She is a graduate of Page High School and Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science, where she received an associate degree. She began a career with Hanes Lineberry Funeral Service in December 2001.
Beth is a member of Saint Pius the Tenth Catholic Church and enjoys going for walks with her dog, Buster, in many of the beautiful parks of Greensboro.

Stephen “Alan” Sells was born and raised in Greensboro, North Carolina. He graduated from Southeast Senior High School in 1987. After graduating from high school he attended Guilford Technical Community College and earned a degree in business administration in 1992, followed by the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, where he studied accounting. He then attended Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science and graduated in 1995.
Alan began his career at Hanes-Lineberry a month after graduation in August of 1995. While employed with Hanes Lineberry, Alan also became a certified pre-need counselor and became a licensed insurance agent.
In addition to his funeral home family, he is married with 3 children, has been blessed with 3 grandchildren and resides in Jamestown, North Carolina. Alan is a member of Gate City Baptist Church and Sedgefield Country Club and enjoys volunteering in various fundraising projects for non-profit organizations in his community.
Ellen Lajune Spruill
Ellen L. Spruill was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, and graduated from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University with a degree in industrial technology, manufacturing. She worked for Xerox Corporation in Rochester, New York, for 11 years as an engineer and product line manager. She then worked 6 years for Eaton Corporation in Sanford, North Carolina, as a trainer and continuous improvement coordinator.
She serves as the associate pastor at Saint John’s United Methodist Church. Ellen is a member of a local pastors group, is an NCA&TSU Aggie certified alumni recruiter and a notary public. Ellen enjoys sports, the theatre and spending time with family and friends.
Albert Shuler Lineberry
Albert S. Lineberry Jr. (Al) grew up in Greensboro and attended Lindley Elementary, Kiser Jr. High and Grimsley High School. He then graduated from Wingate College and the Wake Forest University School of Business. He joined his dad in 1968 at Hanes Lineberry and earned his North Carolina funeral director license. Al has served all the offices within the company and is still very active today.
He has served leadership positions in many community, state, national and international organizations and now is active in promoting local education in the youngest years of a child’s life through the board of directors of Guilford Child Development and Ready for School, Ready for Life initiatives. His hobbies include enjoying his family, church (he attends First Presbyterian), community, anything with water, golf and traveling. He is married to Virginia (Ginni) Schenck Lineberry and has a daughter, son-in-law and 2 wonderful granddaughters.
