Aida Milena Gonzalez was born in Cali, Colombia, South America, and came to the U.S. in 1990 where she completed her formal studies and professional course work. A graduate of the Miami Dade College, Aida served since 2004 as funeral director to the well known Memorial Plan Westchester Funeral Home of Miami, located in a busy metropolitan environment and serving a multi-cultural demographic.
Fluent in both English and Spanish, she also served as a member of the Hispana Chamber of Commerce, Greenville. Aida is a distinguished alumni of New World School of the Arts as well as a recipient of the 2006 Top Funeral Director Award for the Hispanic market.
Having served 8 years in Greenville with Woodlawn Funeral Home, Aida is known and respected by many Greenville families as a detail-oriented, focused and caring funeral director. Her primary concern is always for the family. A creative and talented funeral director, she brings over a decade of professional experience to the Mackey Mortuary team.
Aida has traveled extensively to such destinations as India, Costa Rica and Mexico. She enjoys painting and spending quality time with her 3 sons.
