Jay H. Poster is a co-founder and general manager of King David Memorial Chapel and has provided peace and comfort to families in the southern Nevada community since 1992. He is a licensed funeral director with the state of Nevada and a licensed insurance agent with American Memorial Life.
Jay is an accomplished musician and graduate of San Diego State University with a bachelor's degree in music performance. As a clarinetist and saxophonist, he is a founding member of the Shabbatones Band at Congregation Ner Tamid, an original member of the Meshugginah Klezmorim Band and a member with The Desert Winds - Las Vegas’ premiere contemporary wind ensemble.
Jay is a past board member for the Jewish Community Center of Southern Nevada and Congregation Ner Tamid. He currently serves on the board of directors for Jewish Family Service Agency of Las Vegas and the management team for The Desert Winds.
Jay was born in Brooklyn, New York, raised in San Diego, California, and has been a resident of Las Vegas since 1986. He is married and has 3 children.
Kari Jean Ehrlich
Kari Jean Ehrlich grew up in Southern California and moved to Las Vegas in 2013 with her husband. She is a licensed funeral arranger and became our arrangement director in July 2014. Kari has been married to her best friend since 1995 and has a grown son. As a stay-at-home mom for 14 years, Kari studied history and sociology, was very involved in the PTA and worked with several charities.
