We create custom tributes
We begin by listening to you. Tell us about a favorite pastime, uncommon dedication to a vocation or a lifelong passionate pursuit, and we will integrate thoughtful elements into a service that resonates with all who attend.
Imagine one last rousing game of bingo held in honor of the hall’s favorite player, with cards themed to her interests and a split pot with proceeds going to her favorite charity. Envision a video tribute to your family’s biggest film buff, in a red carpet premiere with reserved seating and a supply of his favorite movie candy. Create the personalized tribute of a lifetime in our flexible reception space, with help from our licensed funeral directors.
Let our professional catering staff serve dishes from our extensive menu, so you can spend more time with family and friends. We’re here to guide you through a range of options, from music to decor, to help you create the perfect tribute.
Not everyone knows that there are many cremation options. If you are interested in cremation, the funeral home team can explain the process and different options. From a direct cremation without a memorial service or a witness cremation to a full funeral service before or after the cremation and more, we help you understand this increasingly common choice—and handle all of the cremation arrangements.

Local blacksmith H.C. Alexander established H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Lutcher in the early 1900s after recognizing his neighbors were in need.
In 1925, he built the existing funeral home along River Road to provide full-service funerals to the community. In the mid-1950s, the Alexander family saw a need to expand their business to Norco, Louisiana, another rural community, downriver in St. Charles Parish.
Today, we create personalized memorial tributes that speak to the life and times of the individuals who bring vibrance and joy to our community.
