Ralph Ferrara has lived in Ridge, New York, for more than 30 years. He began serving the families of Northern Brookhaven in 1985.
A 1979 graduate of State University of New York at Farmingdale, he earned an associate's degree in applied sciences and began working in the funeral services field at Riverside Memorial Chapels in New York City. His education continued at Hofstra University, where he earned a specialized degree in marketing. He joined O.B. Davis Funeral Homes in February 1985 and was appointed general manager of the group in 2008.
Ralph believes strongly community involvement. He is a three-term Grand Knight at St. Jude Council No. 5814, Knights of Columbus, Rocky Point; two-term president of the Rocky Point Liens Club; and six-term president of the P. Vincent Landi Lodge No. 2239, Order Sons of Italy in America. In addition, he is a member of the North Brookhaven Chamber of Commerce and the LeTip Rocky Point Chapter.
His work ethic is marked by service excellence and the growth and development of the associates who report to him.
Heather R. Diana
Heather R. Diana, a native of Brookhaven Township, began as a student in our Boyd-Caratozzolo location in Deer Park in 1997. She studied mortuary science at Nassau Community College and earned an Associate of Applied Science in 1998. In her 20 plus years in funeral service, Heather has gained the knowledge and experience to provide families with a level of comfort, guidance and dignity in their time of need.
Heather believes families come first and communities need leaders. In her spare time, she is active in various charities, fraternal organizations, funeral service associations and religious establishments. Heather is a member of the Catholic Cemetery Guild as well as Rotary International. In 2014, Heather received the Rotary Champions for Families award, specifically to benefit RotaCare.
Paul J Montelione
Paul J. Montelione joined the O. B. Davis Funeral Homes care team in 1999. He has been in the funeral service business for over 40 years and is the former manager of a prestigious North Shore funeral home, Beney’s Funeral Home. Throughout the years, Paul has been past grand knight in the Joseph J. Gorman Council, Knights of Columbus, a lecture during Sunday mass in the Parish of St. Edward’s Church and, more recently, a trustee for the Vigiano Brothers Lodge, Sons and Daughters of Italy, in Port Jefferson. Paul is valued as a member of our team for his calm demeanor, wealth of experience and soft spoken nature.
Brian P O'Connor
Originally from St. James, New York, Brian graduated from St. Anthony's High School in 1988 and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Siena College. After working as an elementary school teacher for a few years, Brian returned to school in pursuit of a degree in mortuary science. Becoming a licensed funeral director in 1999 and a member of the Dignity Memorial family in 2002, he joined the O.B. Davis care team in 2008.
Brian currently resides in Sound Beach, New York, with his wife and their 2 children. He is a member of St. Anselm's Episcopal Church, and in his spare time, enjoys coaching and volunteering for his children's many activities.
Diana Marie Ottenwalder
Diana is a self-taught makeup artist and served over 5 years in the makeup industry. Deciding to broaden her horizons, she graduated from Nassau Community College with an associate degree in mortuary science. A licensed funeral director since 2016, she continues to utilize her skills in makeup artistry. Diana currently resides in Mount Sinai, but she is a native of Port Jefferson Station.
