Mojave funeral home and memorial options
Our chapel provides a welcoming warmth to you and all your guests. Our team always adapts to meet the unique needs of all faiths, traditions and cultures. If you choose cremation, with or without ceremony, take comfort in the fact that Stickel Mortuary operates our own crematory, located in Palmdale. We serve a wide area across Antelope Valley, welcoming guests from Tehachapi to Rosamond and beyond.
We specialize in meeting your specific wants when you need comfort the most. Our team will help you tailor funeral arrangements to fit any budget. No family in need is ever turned away. We offer complete and straightforward plans that help take the stress and confusion out of the final arrangements process so that there are no surprises.
Personalized funerals and memorial services
Memorial services should reflect the unique lifetime passion of an individual. To that end, our funeral directors personalize each service at your direction to combine elements that truly reflect the personality traits of those we celebrate together: a favorite song, frequent motto or lifelong hobby. We're always here, whether you need immediate information about funeral options or would simply like a tour of our beautiful funeral home.
Stickel Mortuary has been an integral part of the Mojave community since the 60s. Richard William Stickel relocated his family to Mojave, California, in the 60s. He went on to purchase the local mortuary and an ambulance service in 1961. Mr. Stickel served the Kern County community for over 40 years. He was also very much a part of the local community chambers and events. He was known as a caring, compassionate and kindhearted man who was dedicated to serving everyone with dignity and respect.
In 2014, Stickel Mortuary became part of the Dignity Memorial® network of cemetery, funeral and cremation services in California. To this day, we honor the tradition that Mr. Stickel originally created by serving the families of Mojave and the surrounding areas with compassion and service excellence every single day.
