    A native Texan, Bob has lived in Southern California since the late 1970s. He earned a communications degree from the University of Texas at Arlington and came to Bastian and Perrott, Oswald Mortuary with a background in the entertainment field, where he worked as a casting director, a talent agent and owner, along with his brother, of one of the better known prop-rental companies in Hollywood. Bob has a great love of people, strong listening skills and sensitivity to others. Bob is now fulfilling a lifelong desire to work in the funeral industry; he earned his funeral director's license in 2017.

    Edward L Perrott

    Originally from Wisconsin, Ed Perrott has worked in the funeral industry for more than 70 years. Ed attended the San Francisco College of Mortuary Science and moved to San Diego after graduation. After serving the San Diego community for many years, Ed moved to the San Fernando Valley and managed J.T. Oswald Mortuary in Reseda, California. Not long after that, he and business partner George Bastian opened Bastian & Perrott Mortuary in 1969. Over the next several decades Bastian & Perrott Mortuary earned a reputation of unparalleled service and a commitment to service excellence. In 2006, Bastian & Perrott Mortuary merged with J.T. Oswald Mortuary in Reseda. The result was Bastian & Perrott, Oswald Mortuary, where Ed still plays an active role today.
