"Life is beautiful not because of the things we see or the things we do," she said. "Life is beautiful because of the people we meet."
When Jillian was young, her church met in the local funeral home while rebuilding after an electrical fire. It was here she learned her life purpose: to serve families when they need it most.
Born and raised in Poteau, Oklahoma, Jillian graduated from Poteau High School and Carl Albert State College with an associate's degree in biology. In 2007, she attended the University of Central Oklahoma, graduating summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in funeral service.
In 2009, Jillian became a licensed funeral director and embalmer, serving in Shawnee, Oklahoma, before relocating in 2012 to Shawnee, Kansas, where she serves today. Jillian's experience has given her the opportunity to grow and use her gifts of compassion, patience and understanding to help each family she serves. "The value of our lives is not determined by what we do for ourselves," she says. "The value of our lives is determined by what we do for others."
Outside of work, Jillian has a love for arts and crafts, cooking, spending time with her family and mostly keeping up with her 2 sons. She also enjoys traveling and attending local events.
