For over four decades Robert Pinkston has served families in Pickens County and the surrounding areas. A native of Beaufort, South Carolina, Robert attended The University of South Carolina and graduated from Gupton-Jones College of Mortuary Science in Atlanta. He has served as president of the Piedmont Group of the South Carolina Funeral Directors Association and is a member of St. Michael’s Episcopal Church in Easley where he serves as a Eucharistic minister. Robert says of his career, “My greatest achievement is helping folks begin the process of grief and to be a resource for them as well as a shoulder to lean on. Funeral service for me is a calling, not just a job.”
