Richard Barnett was born in Texas in 1953 and grew up in Rochester, New York. Rick received his degree in music ministry in 1974. He has been a pastor, youth and family counselor, administrator, and musical teacher and director since the mid-70s.
Over those same years, Rick has filled the needs of many funeral homes with his musical skills and support as a chaplain. In 2012, Rick was hired here to assist with services, serve as a chaplain, provide musical work, do maintenance and maintain the home's vehicles. He became a full time funeral arranger in 2013 and became a location manager in October 2015.
Rick and and his wife have been married since 1973. They have 2 sons, 1 daughter, 2 daughters-in-law and 5 grandchildren.
Cynthia A Gonzales
Cynthia has been in the funeral business for 17 years. She started in 2000 as a part-time office helper, and soon assumed the role of full-time office manager. In 2003, Cindy became a funeral director and feels it is the most rewarding job she has ever had.
"I love the families and how rewarding it is to help them at such a difficult time in their lives," Cindy says. For the past 17 years, Cindy has been involved in 4-part harmony barbershop groups. She currently sings with the International Sweet Adeline "Velvet Hills" Chorus" in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the Southern Star Chorus in Pueblo. She also enjoys European "Neon" China Painting, which she has done since 1987. Cindy has been married for 39 years to her husband, Ricky. She has 2 married daughters and 4 wonderful grandchildren.
