Aaron, a third-generation funeral director, grew up in the small town of Adena, Ohio, and graduated from Buckeye Local High School. Aaron attended Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science and Point Park College to complete his formal education. In 2001 he moved to Ravenna for his one-year internship, and never left.
Aaron met his lovely wife while she was working for a local florist. They were married in 2009 at Immaculate Conception Church and live in Ravenna with their little dog, Lucy. Aaron enjoys spending his free time golfing, playing bocce and watching football. He also likes to cook, grill and make homemade wine.
Franklin D Gray
Franklin Dean "Skip" Gray has been a funeral director and prearrangement counselor at Wood-Kortright-Borkoski Funeral Home since October 2007. Born and raised in Ravenna, Skip always had a passion for the funeral industry, working summers through high school at local funeral homes including, what was once, Wood Funeral Home.
Upon graduating from Ravenna High School in 1979 he earned a bachelor's degree in business administration from Bowling Green State University. Skip subsequently spent 19 years growing and managing Vale Edge, Inc., the family business his grandfather began in 1928. Skip feels it is a privilege to guide you through one of the most personal times in life with the utmost professionalism and compassion.
In his spare time, Skip enjoys golfing, boating and spending time in Canada.
