    Kyle Leroy Blankenbiller

    General Manager

Having been born and raised in Oley Valley, it was Kyle Blankenbiller's honor to become a member of the Auman team. He graduated from Oley Valley High School in 1987 and Northampton Community College in 1990. He became licensed in funeral service in 1991. Kyle worked for many funeral homes in and around Berks County prior to owning his own funeral home in Oley for seven years. In 2012, following the sale of his funeral home, Kyle joined the Auman team as a funeral director and location manager. He is proud to be a part of a staff who feels more like family than co-workers and who delivers service excellence every day to every family in an unparalleled fashion. Kyle knows that serving families with professionalism, honesty, pride and care are the benchmarks of success in the funeral industry. He centers his attention on a “life well celebrated” philosophy, as evidenced by the personal, customized services he provides for every family. Every person’s life story is different from another and their final tribute should be a service reflective of that individuality. Kyle desires to continue the deep, enduring values that have held Auman Funeral Home as a progressive industry leader.

    Erika Marie Haas

    Funeral Director

Although not a Berks County native, Erika is proud to be a part of this beautiful town. A 2003 graduate of Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science, she intended to use the education as a stepping stone along her educational path to a career in pathology. However, a month after graduation, Erika was hospitalized for a year with a devastating illness. Following several intense conversations about end-of-life decisions with family and fellow patients, Erika realized her ability to put others at ease by demystifying funeral service.

While healing, Erika decided to stay in mortuary science to help others in their time of need and feels fortunate to share this calling with the team of like-minded individuals at Auman's.
