She is proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial® team, guiding you through one of the most personal times in life. When she is not serving families, Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends, singing with the trio YES MA’AM, running, riding motorcycles and playing piano for church services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bayard.
Mary is very active in the community. She serves as a board member on the Scotts Bluff/Morrill County Extension Board, a board member for the Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska (CAPWN) Board, treasurer of the Nebraska Panhandle Area Health Education Center (NP-AHEC), treasurer for the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) of Scotts Bluff County. She also participates with the City of Bayard Planning Commission and serves as a volunteer for Regional West Hospice.
Kierstin Elyse Shunkwiler
Kierstin has been a funeral director since June 2016. She graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 2016 with an associate’s degree in mortuary science rel="noopener noreferrer" and also attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Kierstin has served the families in the Valley with the utmost professionalism and compassion. She enjoys embroidery, and spending time with her husband and pets.
