    Tammy has been a licensed funeral director since 1989. Tammy’s passion is helping families through their most difficult times, building relationships and adapting to their personal desires and needs.

    Tammy earned her mortuary degree from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1988. She has earned the designation of lifetime member as a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, Inc.

    Tammy is proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial® team, helping you through one of the most personal times in life. When Tammy is not at the funeral home, you can likely find her spending time with her family and friends or volunteering. Tammy enjoys being involved with Calvary Lutheran Church and their Outreach committee, Nebraska Funeral Directors Scholarship committee and the Morrill County Community Hospital Foundation as a board member.

    Since 1993, Mary has served the families in the Nebraska Panhandle with the utmost professionalism and compassion. Mary earned her degree in mortuary science from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 1992, her bachelor’s degree in organizational management from Concordia University in Nebraska in 2002, and has earned the designation of lifetime member as a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner (CFSP) from the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice, Inc.

    She is proud to be a part of the Dignity Memorial® team, guiding you through one of the most personal times in life. When she is not serving families, Mary enjoys spending time with her family and friends, singing with the trio YES MA’AM, running, riding motorcycles and playing piano for church services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Bayard.

    Mary is very active in the community. She serves as a board member on the Scotts Bluff/Morrill County Extension Board, a board member for the Community Action Partnership of Western Nebraska (CAPWN) Board, treasurer of the Nebraska Panhandle Area Health Education Center (NP-AHEC), treasurer for the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) of Scotts Bluff County. She also participates with the City of Bayard Planning Commission and serves as a volunteer for Regional West Hospice.

    Kierstin Elyse Shunkwiler

    Funeral Director

    Kierstin has been a funeral director since June 2016. She graduated from Kansas City Kansas Community College in 2016 with an associate’s degree in mortuary science rel="noopener noreferrer" and also attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney. Kierstin has served the families in the Valley with the utmost professionalism and compassion. She enjoys embroidery, and spending time with her husband and pets.
