    For more than 3 decades, Gregg A. Brunwasser has provided service excellence to bereaved families. He has been with Hellman Memorial Chapels assisting grieving families within the Rockland County Jewish community since 2001.

    Gregg earned his degree in mortuary science at the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service. He began his funeral service career as a receptionist and worked his way up to his current position as manager of Hellman Memorial Chapels. He is a licensed funeral director in New York, New Jersey, Florida and Puerto Rico.

    Gregg is active in his synagogue and is a member of the Orangetown Jewish Center board of trustees.

  • Jon P Valentino

    Funeral Director

    Jon P. Valentino has been a licensed funeral director since 2012. Prior to entering the funeral service industry, Jon worked for the New York City Police Department. After serving with the NYPD for 23 years—first as a police officer then as a sergeant—Jon retired as a lieutenant. Upon retiring from law enforcement, he remained focused on serving the community but in a slightly different capacity.

    Jon became a licensed funeral director to continue serving the needs of individuals and families while providing assistance and guidance during the loss of a loved one.
