G. Wade Aycock opened his first Aycock Funeral Home in Stuart, Florida, on the South Federal Highway in December 1968. A businessman and compassionate funeral professional, he quickly established a reputation for providing fine funeral, memorial, burial and cremation services. It is a tradition we carry on to this day.
Aycock Funeral Home is situated just north of historic downtown Stuart. We are a 5-minute drive from Fernhill Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum. Our convenient location is easy to access from I-95 and Florida's Turnpike. We are one of the oldest funeral homes in the community, and our staff of licensed funeral directors has more than 100 years of combined experience. Our on-site crematory is available to tour, and we designed our light-filled funeral home to reflect Florida's natural beauty. Additionally, our chapel's solar garden creates a peaceful setting for a funeral or memorial service.

Unique and personalized funeral services
Because we believe each funeral service should be as special as the life it celebrates, we deliver notable memorials. We can arrange a simple gathering of friends and family in our Signature Memories® event room, decorated to express a loved one's personality and interests. We can also arrange an off-site celebration with live music, favorite foods and flowers, plus personalized mementos. We're more than happy to conduct a traditional funeral service with religious customs. The choice is yours.
We are affiliated with Aycock Funeral Home locations in Jupiter, Port Saint Lucie, Jensen Beach and Fort Pierce. In addition to Fernhill Memorial Gardens & Mausoleum, Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce and Riverside Memorial Park in Tequesta are also affiliated cemeteries for our funeral home. As a member of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers, Aycock Funeral Home can arrange for out-of-state transfers and also offers National Transferability of Prearranged Services. Please contact us if you need assistance or would like information on the benefits of planning ahead of time.

Treasure Coast expansion
G. Wade Aycock's first expansion was into Jensen Beach in 1973. Later, in 1982, Wade opened a third location of Aycock Funeral Home on Floresta Drive in Port Saint Lucie. Aycock-Riverside Funeral and Cremation Center opened in Jupiter in 1987. The fifth Aycock Funeral Home was added to the grounds of Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Fort Pierce in 1996.
Along the way, the original Stuart location also built an on-site crematory. Aycock Funeral Home opened a second location on Bayshore Boulevard in Port Saint Lucie in 1995. It combined operations with Roger L. Byrd – Port St. Lucie Funeral Home in 2004 and is now known as Aycock Funeral Home – Byrd, Young & Prill Chapel. In addition, a second Stuart location operates as Aycock Funeral Home – Young & Prill Chapel, about 15 minutes south of the original Stuart location.
